Our heat tracking
system provides a link between manufactured goods and the raw materials
used to produce them. Raw materials can have a set of specifications
with desired chemical and physical properties, and acceptable
values–referred to as the “Heat Specification”. It is your
responsibility to verify ordered materials against specification and
track it through the manufacturing process to the finished product.
In order to verify
incoming materials against specifications, our Receiving System tracks
each received tag along with Heat/Lot Numbers and actual measured
values as reported by the vendor. The Shipping System links each container of manufactured goods to the raw material.
In the Q/A System
there is the capability of entering the actual chemical and physical
values measured for each Heat/Lot Number of material which are then
used to print the “Q/A Certificate of Compliance”.
When quality problems
occur, you now have a quick method to identify which
coil(s)/material(s) are at fault and to take action on affected
manufactured goods.
Features Include:
- Assigning material specifications to purchased materials
- Verifying material receipts against tolerances
- Tracking actual measured values against expected values
- Linking Heat/Lot numbers from raw materials to manufactured goods
- Putting out-of-tolerance materials on hold
- rejection at time of receipt
- Printing “Q/A Certificate of Compliance”
