ShopEdge Software Inc. is a small software company specializing in vertical ERP software solutions for the automotive manufacturing industry. We are a progressive software company experimenting with new technologies to push our products in new directions. Our flagship product, ShopEdge ERP, was one of the first ERP packages targeting the .NET environment. We have customers in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong technical skills that wants to be part of a growing company. We are looking for a full-time software developer to play a key role in bringing our product ideas to market.
Job Title:
• Software Developer
Type of Employment:
• Full-time, Daytime, Contract
Education:
• University degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent level of education and 3-5 years experience
Technical Skills:
• Experience with .NET platform, ASP.NET and C#
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services and Crystal Reports
• Experience with user interface design
Assets:
• Flexible, hard working and self-motivated
• Ability to learn quickly as well as give and receive constructive feedback
• Experience with manufacturing industry business processes
Key areas of responsibility:
• Enhance our existing software product with new features and modules
• Provide day-to-day software support on-site or remotely
• Work with customers through the entire software development life cycle from requirements specifications to prototype reviews and implementation
• Be a part of our effort to deliver new products
